This past weekend I held my first annual Birthday Bash! We had so much fun making 10 different birthday cards! I tried to create cards that could be used for kids and adults and I thought there was a pretty good mix. I am going to share several of the cards with you over the next few days so stay tuned! I found the layout for this card online while surfing the web. This is one of the cards that we made using the Party This Way stamp set. Did you know that this is one of the stamp sets you can choose for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, which by the way is ending this Saturday, so don’t miss out! You can check out the Sale-A-Bration catalog HERE. The colors on this card are Real Red, Pacific Point, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip. The card base is Crumb Cake and whisper white. I actually like the card so much I was thinking about adapting it for my Son’s birthday invitations. What do you think? I hope you enjoyed my card today and thanks for stopping by!

I made this card using the Manhattan Flower embossing folder from SU! and my Big Shot. I actually got the idea from a demonstrator swap that I was in. I changed up the colors and used Pretty In Pink and Blush Blossom to sponge the flower after it was embossed. I added some taffeta ribbon and a greeting and it was done! So quick and easy and it really looks like it could have taken a long time to make. I don’t know what I would do without my Big Shot!

My dear friends Stacey and Dan welcomed their second daughter to their family on August 24th! A big congratulations to them! I thought I would make a quick digipage using the paper and elements from the Express Yourself free download at the Shabby Shoppe. I really wanted to make a girl page and since my husband probably wouldn’t appreciate it if I put Tyler’s picture on this page I added a picture I had of the new baby.

Days with my soon to be two-year-old can be quite trying at times. Needless to say we were having a good day when I made this page. The caption says “Tyler I love your smile…it can light up a room! I love you!”. The paper and elements I used were a free download from the Shabby Princess called Express Yourself. Enjoy!

So I spent a little time making a new digipage tonight instead of packing for our trip to the Dells tomorrow like I had planned on doing. I have to admit that this is sort of addicting! I used a two pictures that we took at the park a few weeks ago with Tyler. The paper and elements I used are called Celebrate from the Shabby Princess. Enjoy!
