Hello! I am excited to share with you a few cards from our area demonstrator shoebox swap that was held this weekend. A shoebox swap is when demonstrators all design and cut out a card and then we get to go around and create all of the cards. It is so great to stamp for fun, but let me tell you as a demonstrator I rarely get to sit down and make a card that has been all cut out and pre-designed for me!
I made so many cute cards and wanted to share a few of my favorites with you tonight and I will share a few more tomorrow.
Isn’t this a gorgeous card! It uses one of my favorite embossing folders. I also really loved the color combination! Not a color combo that I would have naturally put together. That is why these events with other demos are so wonderful because we get new ideas that take us out of our usual “box”. This card was designed by Jena Mielke.
I absolutely LOVE this card! I think it was my favorite of the day, first of all because it used a stamp set that I have overlooked in the catalog called Daring Adventure. It is also a great card you could send to anyone. This card alone has sold me on this stamp set! What a great stamp set for scrapbook pages too! I guess I know what is going to be on my next order. 🙂
