I wanted to share a few more cards with you from our demonstrator shoebox swap that was held this past weekend.  We had such a great time and I got so many wonderful ideas.

This card was created for us by Lyssa Zwolanek.  It uses the Hello Doily background stamp which is so HOT in the stamping world right now!  Once you use it, you will want it!  It also uses the Perfectly Penned stamp set.

The technique used on this card is so simple, but stunning.  Both the card and the butterfly arefirst stamped with versamark and then heat embossed using white embossing powder.  The trick  to this card was actually to stamp the doily and emboss it before you cut it out the butterfly on your big shot.  That way you can line the paper up just right so the doily is centered on your butterfly.

How cute is this card?!  Another stamp set that I would not have been naturally drawn to in the catalog, but I love the look on this card.  Notice the little “socks” hanging on the clothes line?  They were made from the word window punch and then embossed using the big shot.  What a great idea!  The saying is so cute too.  The list has “eat chocolate” checked and the ironing board says “At least you’ll get one thing done today”.  That is how I feel some days!

I will share one last card with you.  This card was designed by Jen Maciejewski.  A wonderful, modern-looking card!  The ribbon on the front of the card was ruffled by pulling a string out of the seam binding ribbon.  It really has a stunning effect on cards, adding so much texture.

Happy Stamping!
