It’s a beautiful, crisp, fall morning here! I love fall, it really is my favorite time of the year. The colors, the cool crisp air, back to school, I love it all! I decided to pull out my new stamp set Gently Falling from the Holiday Mini and design a fall card. This card was designed for my Incredible Cards Club which is meeting tonight. I used a technique on the leaves called burnishing. What you do is use a sponge dauber to rub the ink on in a circular motion. I started with the lighter ink, More Mustard, in the center of the leaves. I finished with a little Cajun Craze on the outside of the leaves. I love how this technique really blends the colors together and creates a different look each time you do it. You might also notice on the background I used the Woodgrain Background stamp. I really don’t utilize my background stamps enough, but I just knew that this one would be perfect for a leaf card!
