It’s Thursday! A very rainy Thursday here, perfect for staying inside and doing some stamping! I am especially excited about today, because every third Thursday of the month I have the privilege of spending time with my club ladies from Fort Atkinson! We always have a good time and I love showing them new stamping ideas.
This is one of the cards that we are making tonight at our club meeting. I am showing the ladies a few ways you can use the Shimmer Paint. The paint comes in three different colors (Champagne mist, Frost White, and Platinum). I used the Champagne Mist (#116806) on my project here. It’s one of those things in the catalog that you might look at and wonder what to do with it. There are many ways to use it, a favorite of many is to create a fun Shimmer Mist Spray by mixing 80% Isopropyl Alcohol with a few drops of the Shimmer Paint in a 2 ounce spray bottle. You can add as much or as little Shimmer Paint as you want, depending on how shimmery you want your project. Tonight I am showing my club how to use the Shimmer Paint direct to paper, by taking a sponge and applying it to the cardstock. See all those shimmers?! Isn’t it just so pretty?! I definitely dresses up the card. The Designer Series Paper on this card is from the Comfort Cafe collection. The colors I used are Midnight Muse, Cajun Craze, Summer Starfruit, and Crumb Cake. Yes, one of my favorite combos right now!
I you want more information on becoming a part of one of my clubs let me know! We are always accepting new members. Thanks for stopping!
Be creative, Kristin
