Happy Friday to you! I have a fun First Day of School page to share with you today! I saw this layout on another blog, for the life of me I can’t remember where, but it was one of those layouts that I had to CASE almost completely! I am just loving this Storytime Designer Series Paper and have pretty much used up the entire pack that I had. I guess it’s time to order more! 🙂 All of the elements on this page were from the Storytime DSP. The embossed alphabet background was so easy! I took a picture to demonstrate how I made my own background stamp.
(I apologize for the brightness of the picture here, apparently I had my flash on). All I did was grab my largest Clear Block (F) and line up all of my Notable Alphabet letters (C#126357). This is the benefit in having your alphabets in clear! Now you have your own background stamp that you can reuse and you aren’t trying to line up a million little letters! Once you line up all of your letters you can stamp as you wish. I used Versamark and embossed my background in clear embossing powder on this page. I have three or four alphabets in my collection and I keep coming back to this one, I just love it! The ladies attending my September Scrapbook Night will get to leave with this fabulous page! I hope they enjoy it!
Be creative, Kristin
