It’s Friday! Made it through another week, sometimes I wonder how I will get everything done that I have on my list at the beginning of the week, but the important things always get accomplished! Yesterday I had a friend over to stamp. She worked on her scrapbook and I was working on Holiday card designs for the Holiday Jingle!
This is one of the designs I worked on yesterday. I took some inspiration for this card from the Holiday Mini. The tree is stamped in the beautiful Illuminate Ink Pad. If you haven’t used this yet you should really get your hands on one! It is just so shimmery! I actually stamped the tree on Very Vanilla card stock and then put a layer of Vellum over it and the tree still sparkles through the vellum. The words are from the More Merry Messages Stamp Set and stamped in Versamark and then embossed with Silver Embossing powder. I added even more sparkle with the piece of Silver Glimmer Paper! Then, just because you can never have enough glitz, I added a Silver Glimmer Brad to the top. This card would look gorgeous in gold as well, maybe I will experiment with that later. The shape was cut using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.
