Still in need of some Mother’s Day card inspiration? I have just the fix for you!  I love it when you can find stamp sets that make your cards look so detailed and intricate, when in fact the stamps have done all the work for you!  Both of the stamp sets used on these two cards are perfect for making your cards look impressive!

bloomingmothersdayIsn’t this card just stunning?!  The stamp set used on this card is called Stippled Blossoms.   It has quickly become one of my favorite stamp sets!  The colors used here are Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery (which is retiring), and Old Olive.  I can’t take full credit for the card.  I found my inspiration for it from my friend Lyssa’s blog.  I did change up my greeting to fit the occasion but this is her layout and design.

wildflowermothersdayThis second card is a bit of a tease and uses a stamp set called Wildflower Meadow which is going to be released in the new 2013-2014 Stampin’ Up! Catalog.   It also uses a coordinating textured embossing folder.  Again, the stamp set on this card did all the work for me.  I just used my markers to color in the flowers and stems.  The colors I used are Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, and Pool Party.  It’s hard to pick up on in the picture, but I added a bit of Dazzling Diamonds to the center of the flowers as well.

Hopefully you found a bit of inspiration here!  Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Mom’s celebrating tomorrow and a special Happy Mother’s Day to my Mom!  Thanks Mom for all you do for me!

Be Creative, Kristin
