Where does the time go?! I can’t believe that Stampin’ Up! Convention is right around the corner! Yes, I’m headed to Salt Lake City, UT with 5,000 of my stamping friends for a huge 25th anniversary celebration! Since convention is just days away I’m up to my elbows in swap cards! This one was created for a special swap that I am participating in while I’m there.
I don’t normally take the greetings off and add my own, but I’m just in love with the hostess greeting set called Express Yourself (item #130336, pg. 205 in the catalog). This set has 12 different versatile greetings that I find myself wanting to use again and again. I knew I had to put it on this card.
I did a lot of coloring on this card using both the markers and inks with the blender pen. The birds are punched out with the Decorative Label Punch which fits them perfectly! I also added an embossed layer using the Cloudy Day embossing folder tone on tone.
