Good Friday morning to you!!  I have a fun grungy card to share with you today.  This card was inspired by a swap I received at convention, although it didn’t have a name on it. So, you might be asking what is this grunge trend?  Grunge is certainly not new.  Grunge actually works with so many different styles of stamping.  You can create vintage flair, youthful and trendy motifs, or use it to add a modern flair to a card.  It’s really very versatile.  As soon as I saw this stamp set in the new catalog I knew that I had to have it!

nevertoomuchhappyI also used the Tape It stamp set, which is another new trend sweeping the crafting world. This stamp set was created to mimic the look of washi tape and does a great job!  The butterflies on the front of the card were created by making a template with the butterfly punch.  Once I had the template made I used a mixture of reinker and rubbing alcohol in a stampin’ spritzer and sprayed over my template to create those beautiful butterflies.  A little more grunge and a fun tag using the Yippee-Skippee stamp set and it’s done!  I really had to restrain myself to not add more details because it was just so fun!

You can find the products used for this card in my links below under Stamping Supplies. These links will also take you to my store so you can purchase your supplies to make this project.

Thanks for stopping by today!
