Hi! Happy Monday to you all! I just got home from taking my son to school and I think I will just plan on staying inside today…burrrrrr! I guess my body will need to adjust to this chilly fall weather sooner or later.
I have a fun little MDS post for you today. When Facebook released their new timeline profile I decided I wanted to do something really cute with my header. I have been making my blog headers for a long time and so I decided this really wasn’t too far off from doing that.
The first header I created using the original version of MDS. It was a bit tricker and took more time because I had to resize my header to fit my FB profile. It actually ended up being a little too big and I had to play around with it once I uploaded it to FB. You can see from my image here that there is a lot of ‘white’ space under my header. Yesterday we decided to head over to the local park and snap a few fall pictures of the family. It was a beautiful day to see the fall colors here. Since it’s my favorite time of year, I really wanted to get a few pictures. After we came home I decided to update my FB header using the new and improved MDS2. What a difference!! It was a breeze. All I had to do to start my project was enter the dimensions that I wanted my page to be, which for FB headers you need it to be 851 pixels wide by 315 pixels high. MDS2 automatically creates it for you and all you have to do is design to your hearts content! Once I had it completed I exported it as a jpeg and uploaded it to Facebook. Just like that..a new header!
