Monday night was our Monthly SOMH meeting!  I love our monthly meetings.  They lift me up and give me motivation to keep going when sometimes you just don’t know if you can.  I love stamping, and going to those meetings reminds me why I love it so much!  I have made so many friends through stamping and have learned so much from those gals!

Our fearless leader came down with the flu right before meeting time on Monday and she wasn’t able to make it.  Fortunately we didn’t let that stop us and we went ahead with our scheduled activities.

I have to share the make-n-takes with you from the meeting.  They were absolutely fabulous!  The first make-n-take that I did was provided by Lori B.  What a beautiful Christmas card!  I love everything about this one, especially all of the sparkle!  She used the Daydream Medallion Stamp Set and coordinating Floral Frames Framelit Dies.

The second make-n-take was provided by Cristy Butzen.  I loved the creative way the Keep Calm set was used here!  She said that she cased the idea from another card she saw online.  I ran out of adhesive as I was making this card so I didn’t put it together until I came home.  When I got home I decided to add the layer of embossed Cherry Cobbler cardstock behind the little framelit.  This is such a quick and easy card!  I also love that it’s just a little bit sassy…sort of like me.  🙂

I didn’t get a chance to make the third make-n-take which looked equally as cute.  It was a little Thanksgiving candy holder.  I was asked to give a presentation on MDS2 so I was busy setting up.

It’s great to be a part of such a wonderful community that shares their ideas with each other!  I had such a nice time!  I would love to share my passion for stamping and my wonderful friends with you.  If you live in the area and you are even remotely interested in attending a meeting with me, please let me know!

Be Creative,
Kristin
