I have a quick card to share with you today! This was one of my favorite cards that we created at card class in June. It features the new hostess stamp set Bloom With Hope. I was immediately drawn to this set, even though I have many other floral sets. I also pulled out two of my new favorite in-colors, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey!

I’m just loving this new single stamp called Sweetbriar Rose! It’s so much fun to color in the images. I used our new Blendabilities in Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry to color in the image on this card.
I have some great news!! The first 6 Blendabilities color assortments (as well as the Skin Tones Assortment, Momento Pad, and Color Lifter) are now available for you to order!!
What makes these markers so unique?
- The Stampin’ Up! rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away!
- Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker.
- Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine.
- Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray.
- Color coded caps.
- Stampin’ Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock, and can be used with transparent sheets.
Here is a quick “how to” video on these new markers!

I had a great time visiting with everyone who attended the New Catalog Open House on Sunday! Everyone who attended received a new catalog, a bookmark, and prizes for ordering! Of course it wouldn’t be a stamping event without a little stamping so of course there was a make-n-take for everyone!
I really wanted to showcase the versatility of the new Work Of Art stamp set. All of these samples were created with a package of the Note Cards & Envelopes, one stamp set, a a variety of ink pads. I will put the supply list at the end of the post.

I had a chance last week to sit down and play around with the new 2014-2016 In Colors! They are wonderful and coordinate so well together. I can already tell that Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss are going to be two of my favorites! The ladies that attended my monthly card class last week also had the opportunity to create this card using two of the new In-Colors.
STAMPING TIP: To get the three different “swoosh” colors on the front of the card I inked up my stamp from the Work Of Art stamp set in Lost Lagoon and stamped it three times on the card stock without re-inking it. Each image then gets a little lighter as you stamp.
You can now order products from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog!! Check it out HERE or send me a message and I would be happy to put one in the mail for you! Don’t forget I’m having my annual Open House on Sunday June 8th from 1:00-3:00 in Johnson Creek. You can come and pick up your very own copy of the new catalog and use the new products! Please RSVP to me if you are planning to attend so I have enough supplies cut.

It’s mid-May and my tulips are finally blooming in my yard! I think this is the latest that they have ever bloomed, usually I have tulips by Easter. I’m happy to see them come up and they are so beautiful to look at, I was inspired to pull out my Blessed Easter stamp and use the tulips to create this card.
I used a fabulous new product on this card called Blendabilities. They are a new alcohol based marker from Stampin’ Up! Because these markers are alcohol based you can blend several shades of color together and get beautiful looking results! They come in a pack of three shades of a light, medium, and dark color to create beautiful depth and dimension on your stamped images. I used the Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive assortment on my card. It is important that you use the Memento Ink Pad for stamping your images so that your images don’t bleed when you use the alcohol markers.
The last thing I’d like to point out is that the Blendabilities Markers are also great for adding color to your embellishments. The beautiful ribbon you see on the top of the tag was actually a piece of whisper white taffeta ribbon colored with the medium shade of Old Olive Blendabilities. The ribbon took the color beautifully and it actually looks like it was always that shade of green!
